Unfortunately, I do not see that blogger.com provides for a nice contact form or "guest book" yet for blog sites. The best way to contact me is to post a comment to this blog. I receive notifications of all comments posted here, and I will respond as soon as possible.

Hi Amber...
Sorry, but I do not recalling having emailed you, unless you first emailed me and I was responding to it...can you fill me in? If you didn't email me first, maybe someone else with my same name emailed you or something. I've cancelled my MySpace account, so my MySpace email is also cancelled.

Matthew, I am searching for info about Witess Skateboards. My family owns a Christian store and we used to carry Witness Skateboard decks. I know they no longer make them but for about a year we have been trying to locate someone to ask them for permission to recreate some of their boards. If you could help me with any thing that could possibly point me in the direction of contacting someone that would be awesome!! My name is Stuart Whitaker and my email address is stuart@thenewlife.com - you can also reach me by phone at 434-660-9379. Thanks!!

Hey Stuart,

Wow, it's been a long time since I've heard about Witness Skateboards. I used to skate for them--they were the best decks I ever skated. I know a pro skater helped design them, but I don't know who. The owner's name was Jamie. Just before I moved to Germany, he told me they were going out of business and he had a new "ministry" he was starting. I asked a couple of questions, and he emailed me a publication they put out that had something to do with their belief that the rapture already happened, and that we were now living in the tribulation period. I replied with a few questions, and he was going to send me a video, but I never heard from him again. I think the ministry was called Lighthouse, or something. I've done some searching in the past to see if I could find Jamie again, but I have had no luck. I tried again today and did find a listing for one witness skateboard for sale, I think in Hawaii (http://honolulu.craigslist.org/mau/rvs/583805505.html). I asked the person who posted that if s/he knows how to get a hold of Jamie. There must be some old decks that never sold that are sitting in some warehouse or someone's garage, so I'll let you know what I find.

Thanks for the inquiry! How did you even know I'd know about Witness skateboards? Did it come up in some search engine?

--Matthew
